Hey man I'm in the U.S. and I've just bought a kyosho gp spider 4wd lotus europa special (wow that's a mouth full)...lol Anyway I was just wondering if this is a rare car? And do you know where I can get any parts for this. I Also want to change the motor out for a bigger/faster model.

Thanks,

Reemo-

Sorry for taking so long to reply to you but i have been doing a bit of research on your car,it seems that you posess a very, very rare gp spider. Some info for you,the car is from the nostalgic series and should have a GS11X engine, the product number is KYOC31625. You must have a look at the Lotus site as they dont have picture of this Kyosho model so send them a picture and they just might send you some freebies. Here is a list of some sites for you to get spares and hop-ups you require, www.lotusdriversguide.com , www.rocousa.com , www.mikesrcstore.com , www.rcvehicles.about.com really good site, www.jasons-store.com who supplies nostalgic cars and kits. I have recently installed a Hot Bodies .16 motor into my test GP Spider and it is awesome. Could not reply to your blog as no access allowed. Hope this info is useful to you, many thanks. Tommy.

I really appreciate the research you've done for me. I've change the motor to a hpi nitro star 15fe because I broke the little knob on the crankshaft for the pullstart on the gs11x motor. Its been really hard to find parts for this car so I've contacted Kyosho directly. The customer service center has emailed me and told me that they have still have several parts for my car, but I'd have to email them a list of the part #'s that I need and they'll let me know if its available. I'll keep you posted
