Jordan Stewart, 5 starts - 5 wins. Champion.....

Hi folks, its been a long time since i last had a quiet moment to update the blog. A lot has happened since January, an awful lot of cash has gone out to aquire a few ,quality Mk11 GP Spiders . At the same time i also bought scores of spare parts, brand new in there packets (theres no point restoring a car with second hand parts) . Jasons Store on e-bay has lots of new spares and BNIB kits, pure ten bodyshells etc. If you need to find a particular GP Spider spare or optional part , dont hesitate to e-mail me @ tamari.europe@sky.com and i will either have the part or know where to get it 100% every time.

And finally, does Scotland have a new world RC racing champion?

"JORDAN STEWART "

My mates' 11 year old son, having never held a handset before, was entered into a funday RC event sponsored by Carneige College, Dunfermline and won 5 out of 5 heats!!

As a result of this amazing feat the suppliers of the Nitro cars presented Jordan a pro-version 1/10th scale RC Buggy.

Growing collection

Today has been a wee bit of ups and downs for the clan Spider,my van packed in but on a happier note my new e-bay shop had its first sale.My collection has grown yet again and Ariana (ones mrs) purchased her very own first nitro car,we gave it the first 2 tanks of fuel and i really cant wait to see what it will throw at us after the 10 tank run in.Its small and it has a behaviour problem only surpassed by the likes of G.Bush, yep its the Kyosho half 8 inferno. Included in this paragraph or two is some snaps of the w/c Spider, my SST Thunder Tiger a couple of shells and the star of the moment, the half 8. Dont forget to visit my e-bay shop, ebay.co.uk/kyosho-rc-maniacs and let me know what you think. I have sourced some good new parts from all over the globe and if you require a part thats not listed just let me know and i will try and get it for you, another thing is manuals which are so bloody hard to get and if you need any parts listings, manuals etc. please dont hesitate to ask. Take care spiders, til next time. Tommy AKA GP Spiderman.

I have been working really hard sourcing parts and hop-ups.My lovely mrs paid for a world cup edition gp spider for my christmas, thankyou Ariana. On a more sombre note, i tried to send the RS4 to America and low and behold, some 4 weeks later it is sent back to me with all wrapping totally vandalised. To make matters worse i now dont have the address to where it was destined so if you read this, turbored please e-mail with details and i will re-send. In the meantime, this is the Spider to date

Mitsubishi to date

Took delivery from a trader in Japan some pretty cool hop-ups for my brand new 9 year old GP Spider at a fraction of the cost of the robbers in the U.K. As you can see in the pictures (new camera) i have installed Teflon Touring Shocks to the rear,a blue alloy centre mount, centre belt tensioner and a main belt tension post. Some more parts on order already this week but im keeping tight lipped as to what they are, hope you all like the pics. Before i go, many thanks again to Kareem for the Lotus Europa pic and maybe send us a few more. All the best to everyone,Tommy.

3 Little racers need our help

Before i unleash my part built Mitsubishi with cool hop-ups on you fellow Spidermen, please take a few moments of your time to read this message. A dude in the US of A has a wee financial worry and is looking for some 1/10th and 1/18th rc toys to kit out his 3 nephews for the coming xmas, not in any way is our friend looking for freebies but is working out of a small budget.I myself will put in a near new HPI RS4/3 which i bought from a friend 1 week ago for 60 British pounds, i will install all radio gear, handset etc. and post it to him for the same £60gbp. If any of you peeps have any stuff taking up space that you need then you can find this guy at www.rcgroups.com and he goes under the pseudonym of "turbored21" so its www.rcgroups.com>topics>for sale-wanted>cars>turbored21 or post a reply here, nephews are aged 8,10 and 12 if im correct. Here is a couple of pics of the RS4/3

Fazer chassis AG1

Steve, hope you get this picture of chassis. Also im putting up here a very rough drawing on how i solved the problem with the toe angle problem that occured when i owned a gp fazer. If you want me to make them i need the length of AG-22. you will have to swap the lower screw on ag-22 with a 4.5mm ball, get threaded rod and cut to the required length, add a ball holder either side of rod and screw fully in.The rod when made should be no longer than the one you have taken of the car, so in reality you should now have approx 6mm of adjustment to toe out but none back unless you shorten rod.Hope this makes sense to you,all the best.Tommy.
